Geekier then thou: I am afraid that I must take serious exception with your critique.

Your failure to recognize the appropriation of textbook propaganda techniques is truly poor form. The fact that the title of this piece even includes the word Manifesto, makes this error completely inexcusable. In fact, it is such a glaring error that I can not help but call into question your credentials to even present your critique!

Furthermore, your own response appears to be based on an assumption of homogeneity among geeks. You state that my perceived lack of precise language should constitute reason for me to question whether I am truly a geek, but for this to be true, we must assume that all geeks use precise language in all of their writings, despite voluminous evidence to the contrary.

Now, unlike you, I will not fall into the obvious trap of demanding that you yourself reevaluate your status as a geek. It is such an obvious trap that, when I first read your comment, I felt it was surely offered in jest. Alas, I can not help but believe it is not. And that instead it is simply another lost soul who mistakes third rate ridicule for wit. Such a tragic thing. You have my condolences.

For everyone else: yeah, I realize I'm more then likely feeding a troll, but god this was fun to write. :)

You imply homogeneity where none exists. Such imprecise usage of syntax calls into question your veracity as geek qua geek. Please refrain from public advocacy until such time as your statements parse properly.
