So, it looks like a leaked copy of the final Harry Potter book may have surfaced on the internet on Monday. It’s apparently a RAR file consisting of a series of pictures of each page in the book.

Those fans, who may have thought that avoiding spoilers only meant staying off line this weekend while you devoured the book, may want to keep an eye out over the next week for folks who may randomly throw out spoilers in comment threads or other online forums.

I haven’t dug into this to make sure it isn’t another hoax, since I didn’t want to risk exposure to spoilers, but I’ve seen enough that I’m on the lookout now.

Just thought I’d let folks know to be warned. With the hype that’s surrounding this book, there are a lot of folks out there who would take a certain amount of glee in ruining the ending for people.
